It is an honor to serve you in the Assembly. I have worked hard to keep Western Wisconsin a great place to live work and raise a family.
I humbly ask for your continued support on election day.
I grew up here in Wisconsin, and I am a proud alum of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with distinction. I earned an MA in International Affairs from American University in Wsahington, DC and a MS in Natural resources from UW-Stevens Point. Prior to my service in the Assembly, I spent nearly 10 years as a Police Officer in Onalaska,. I served on the regional SWAT team, the regional drug investigation unit and received commendations for solving a critical bomb threat case and entering a burning apartment building to evacuate the residents. I served as the president of the Onalaska Professional Police Association prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2008.
My goals have always been to maintain strong support for our rural schools, advocating for increased resources to our rural infrastructure such as roads and bridges. I support protecting our environment and outdoor heritage as well as supporting our local businesses, our tourism and our agricultural economy. I respect local control and take pride in my ability to work across the aisle.
